Requirements

• A passion for our mission of empowering small businesses to thrive
• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, legal, or the equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years of experience as a credit analyst, underwriting analyst, or compliance analyst
• You have excellent written and verbal English skills with exceptional attention to detail tasks and maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in your work
• You have knowledge and experience with small business organizational documents and government registrations and have an eye for spotting doctored items
• You are a fast learner who can adapt easily to change, and are proactive to resolve escalated client issues or credit guideline/policy gaps
• You are proficient in case management systems such as Salesforce

• Analyze Know Your Customer (KYC) identifying information (both principal amp; business) and the payor (business) to assess the compliance and credit risk, according to established policies and procedures within the designated service level agreements
• Troubleshoot data availability issues and when necessary review alternative data sources related to the ID verification process
• Conduct periodic reviews of KYC records, including verifying that due diligence has been performed and that standards are met
• Follow up on tax balances, risk of levy, and federal amp; state tax liens while maintaining detailed records and notes on clients
• Review credit risk of clients and payors and assess the validity of the relationship between client and payor by reviewing contracts (Commercial contract/MSA/Purchase Agreement/etc) and/or invoices
• Support any activities related to enhancing or optimizing credit and risk systems
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including sales, customer success, and operations to ensure optimal customer experience while balancing risk
• Bonus points if you have: 1+ year of experience supporting factoring companies and ABL lending, and/or 1+ year of analyzing data in a credit environment to support decision-making
